Electric Scooter Repair Workshop – Right Here in Auckland

At Kiwi Hoverboard, we don’t just sell e-scooters – we keep them running smoothly too! Our on-site workshop in Auckland is fully equipped to handle a wide range of repairs and servicing. Whether you’ve got a flat tyre, squeaky brakes, or just need a quick check-up, our experienced technicians are here to help.

We work with most major electric scooter brands – just get in touch and let us know what you need. Chances are, we’ve seen it before and can sort it for you quickly and affordably.

Look-Over Service – $60 Flat Fee

A great option for a general check-up. Includes:

Tyre pressure and tread check
Bolt and nut inspection (wheel, deck, handlebar)
Light and speedometer check (front/rear)
Power bar function test
Charger test (if you bring it in)
Brake test ride and visual inspection of pads
Check for 5-degree play in the steering stem

Tyres & Wheels

Tyre / Tubeless / Honeycomb / Inner Tube: $30–$80 per wheel
Bearing Replacement: $50–$90 per wheel

Brakes

Brake Pad / Rotor / Bleed: $30–$120 per brake
Rotor, Lever, Caliper Replacement: $40–$90 per brake
Full Brake System Replacement: $60–$120 per brake

Electrical Components

Light Replacement: $30–$90 each
Motor Replacement: $60–$90 per motor
Controller Replacement: $30–$80
LCD Display Replacement: $50–$80
Dual Motor or Light Switch: $30–$60
Battery Replacement: $60–$120
Internal Cable/Wire Replacement: $60–$90

Other Repairs

Mudguard: $10–$50
Grip Set: $10–$20
T-Bar: $60–$90
Folding Mechanism: $40–$150
Kickstand: $10–$60
Deck Body: $150–$250
Headset: $50–$150
