Entry level Semi Off-Road 3″ tyre suit most full-size / full profile 10″ scooters with relatively wide 6″ tubeless rim. This is the stock factory tyre on Dragon GTR (including V2) which are tubeless.
Semi Off road tread. This tyre has a larger gap between tread, matching grip of full off-road tyres on soft surfaces. It has a relatively thin 3mm tread depth, combined with the larger tread gap will wear quickly on hard surfaces. It also sits quite “square” with a large contact surface area which makes the tyre strong (and protects rims reasonably well), but with reduced cornering responsiveness.
This tyre has a 9.7″ diameter with a 4mm smaller sidewall profile than typical 10×3 tyres. It does not round out significantly under inflation, retaining that “square” form. This improves rim protection but impacts hard surface cornering performance.
Typical weight 750 grams Chao Yang and 700 grams EAKIA branded. Tyres appear identical, see last product image for comparison. The EAKIA seem to be slightly softer on the side walls making fitting over hub slightly easier.
